About the Author
Andrea Louise was born in Loma Linda, California and grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She modeled as a teen and later graduated from the University of Houston–Clear Lake with a degree in Accounting. She currently lives in the Evergreen State of Washington and enjoys getting outdoors for nature walks and bike rides. Her favorite moments of all come from spending time with her family and visiting her son who lives in New Zealand. She was encouraged by her late father, Dr. Andrew Louis Wall, to write this book in hopes that she would shed light on the meaning of Sanfoka, which symbolizes the importance of going back and learning from your ancients so that you’ll know yourself and the best pathway forward.
About the Book
Pam lives with her grandma in New York City and wants nothing more than to know about her parents who tragically died nearly seventeen years ago when she was just a toddler. This longing grows stronger after she dreams about an angelic woman who refers to herself as “one of the Ancients” and tells her she must learn about her ancient relatives.
Mother Henderson, a devout church goer, has raised her granddaughter since the death of her daughter and son-in-law. Even after recovering from the loss of her husband of more than fifty years, she still cannot bear the pain of losing her daughter and son-in-law. Avoiding the reality of this tragic loss, she has refused to tell her granddaughter about them for seventeen years.
When a mysterious woman resembling the angel Pam dreamt about comes into her life, she is thrown into bewilderment. But this mysterious woman is the key in steering the course of Pam’s life to pursue the passion her mother once had of becoming a fashion model. She embarks on this path of glitz and glamour despite being plagued with disappointments and self-doubt.
Then the day comes for Pam to no longer be filled with resentment for being kept in the dark about her parents because her grandma is freed from the grip of her overwhelming grief thanks to a supernatural intervention. Finally knowing the truth she’d sought her entire life, Pam will follow in her parents’ footsteps by beginning a journey to learn about her ancestry and their motherland, a place she never knew existed.
